AEROSTATS
Aerostats are lighter than an aircraft that gains its lift through the use of a buoyant gas. They include unpowered balloons and powered airships. Despite the massive size of the fully inflated aerostats, the complete systems are easily transported and can be deployed in nearly any location and environs.
Mooring stations are either stationary—deployed in one location for an extended period, or fully transportable—built into standard trailers.
However, Zircon surveillance solutions are readily available, individual systems can also be tailored to fit for purpose to meet the needs of the each operations.
UAVS
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew, or passengers on board. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system, which includes adding a ground-based controller and a system of communications with the UAV.
Defence strategy is increasingly reliant on UAVs. To help commanders make better decisions and respond faster, they give them situational awareness. By placing the “pilot” on the ground, these autonomous systems eliminate the need for humans in combat and vital assistance in informing and protecting soldiers on the ground
