An aerostat is a lighter-than-air aircraft that gains its lift through the use of a buoyant gas.
Aerostats include unpowered balloons and powered airships. Air solutions are as versatile as they are effective. Despite the massive size of the fully-inflated aerostats, the complete systems are easily transported and can be deployed in nearly any environment. Mooring stations are either stationary – to be deployed in one location for an extended period, or fully transportable – built into standard trailers.

Although Zircon Surveilance solutions are readily available, individual systems can also be modified to better meet the needs of each mission.

An unmanned aerial vehicle, commonly known as a drone, is an aircraft without any human pilot, crew or passengers on board. UAVs are a component of an unmanned aircraft system, which include adding a ground-based controller and a system of communications with the UAV.

UAVs are playing an ever more important role in defence planning. They provide situational awareness to commanders to enable better decision making and timely reaction. These autonomous systems removes the man from the battlefield by putting the “pilot” on the ground. They provide critical support to forces on the ground to inform and protect.
